Some children from 4CC, set to work this morning in the cafe, to use up all the bread left over from the ‘fuel for schools’ delivery. They made lots and lots of trays of delicious bread and butter pudding (Mrs Culshaw’s favourite).
After lunch 4CC joined us in the cafe to try the finished product. We discussed what we enjoyed and what we might change. Swapping sultanas for chocolate chips was a popular idea. I was also asked if we could use brown bread so next time we will try that. Custard or ice cream would definately be a bonus.
The remainder was sold on the playground. If you had never had this typical English pudding and gave it a try, what did you think?
