Pass It On.
We were all very impressed with this gentlemans cooking skills. A delicious pizza and awesome chocolate chip cookies in under two hours. Mark had never been to our ‘pass it on’ cafe before.
If you would like to learn a new dish or ‘pass on’ one of your own, please speak to Mrs Walker! We meet in the ACE cafe on Tuesday mornings between 9 and 11am. Everyone is very welcome.
Fuel for schools lasagna.
Again, using fuel for schools food, 4CC made a delicious and nutritious vegetable lasagna enjoyed by the whole class!
ACE Cafe Events!
Monday morning drop in, for coffee and croissants, began another busy week in the ACE cafe! The cafe is open from 8.30am until 9.30am, for a coffee or tea and a Danish pastry. Everyone is welcome.
Tuesday saw another ‘pass it on cafe’ where we enjoyed a demonstration of stir fried vegetable rice noodles. Delicious!
Askrigg VC Primary School Visit.
Our guests from Askrigg had a quick, if slightly chaotic, biscuit baking session in our cafe. They took back two boxes of butterscotch cookies they had made.

Pass it on cookery session.
Today was our first ‘pass it on’ cookery session. We made Yorkshire puddings with onion gravy and enjoyed them with some of the staff. It would be lovely to see more people signing up to either share or learn a new recipe or cooking skill!
Pudsey Biscuits for Children in Need!
Reception used our cafe to cook their Pudsey biscuits to be sold in aid of Children in Need.

We carefully weighed out the flour.
We we added baking powder.
We shaped our biscuits.
Everyone enjoyed our Indian biscuits. Ask 2SB what spice they added!
More Poppy Biscuits.
Today it was he turn of 4CC to make their poppy biscuits. They all proved to be excellent bakers!
Collectively, year 4 have raised £20 for the Royal British Legion. Well done!
