Viking Bread.

Some of 4DM have been making and trying Viking bread. The recipe uses 3 basic ingredients, wholemeal flour, butter and egg with just a pinch of salt. It is nothing like the bread we know today, more like a solid scone and would have been cooked over an open fire. What did you think of it 4DM?

Some year 4’s helped make soup with the vegetables delivered by ‘Fuel For Schools’. A great way to use up extra vegetables or those that are past their best. Try it for yourself, in the playground after school on Monday, along with some jacket potatoes! Just ‘Pay As You Feel’!
