Lovely to share 6SK’s celebration event and enjoy a cup of tea and a bun with parents!

Macmillan Coffee Morning
Year 6 helped with the baking for their coffee morning. We also had donations from other very generous people and of course all of you who came to support our event or bought cakes in the playground afterwards.
I AM PROUD TO TELL YOU THAT OUR SCHOOL COMMUNITY HAS RAISED IN EXCESS OF £330!
Well done and thank you.
Pandora’s Box.
Year 6 have been studying the Ancient Greek myth of Pandora.
It took a lot of perseverance and determination to complete these gingerbread boxes, but we did it, with varying degrees of success! What would you have done differently?
A Big Thank You!
A huge thank you to my year 6 group of boys (Bailey, Brandon, Peter, Prabjeet, Cameron and Josiah) who made their Woollton Pies this afternoon. They were the quietest and most mature group that I have cooked with this year. Thank you boys, it was a pleasure to work with you?
Woolton Pie
This term years 5/6 and 6 have been cooking Woolton Pie. This was a recipe created by The Ministry of Food during WWII. The filling contains any vegetables available, possibly home grown, and the top is potato pastry, helping to save precious fat rations. Those who have made and eaten their Woolton Pies have enjoyed them. If you haven’t cooked yours yet don’t worry. Your time will come!
